Showcasing EV performance and driving adoption
Converting drivers to electric vehicles is still a challenge. With consumers still unsure about charge infrastructure and skeptical of range claims, how can Porsche show the performance of their EV lineup and drive adoption?
Drivers want to know not just what a vehicle’s listed range is, but how a vehicle will fit into their life. How easy will it be to find chargers? What will summer holiday trips look like? What about driving home for Christmas in winter conditions? Chargetrip’s tools help Porsche give their customers a comprehensive understanding of the Porsche EV experience.
Porsche’s Chargetrip solution
Porsche’s Chargetrip No-Code solution lets customers plan trips, find chargers, and get a more accurate picture of their real-world driving range.
With a No-Code solution, Porsche has a full-stack web application to help customers imagine the Porsche EV experience. This gives them all of the power of Chargetrip’s technology, complete in a stunning user interface with proven UX paradigms. This lets them drive EV sales by providing these tools to customers without any internal development. They can integrate their solution anywhere by simply embedding the web application into web pages.
Range Spider

Porsche is leading the way on range communication by engaging customers with a dynamic tool to understand range. Customers can visually understand their range with the Porsche Range Spider. Instead of a static number, the Range Spider shows exactly how far they can go—factoring in weather, elevation, and battery capacity.
Charge Map

It’s also easy for customers to see the charging infrastructure available to them with a Porsche. Porsche Destination Chargers are highlighted on their charge map with branded markers, and a new Porsche-only filter lets drivers easily see and explore the Porsche Destination Charging network. Handy filters for charging speed, plug type, and amenities make it easy to explore, and stations come with comprehensive data like operator, speed, number of plugs, availability, and more.
The map has also been upgraded to match Porsche’s in-car navigation, delivering a consistent look and feel across all Porsche platforms.
Route Planner

Customers can then plan routes with any Porsche Taycan or Macan model. The route planner takes into account each model's energy consumption, predicting range with 95% accuracy and accounting for factors like weather, elevation, and speed. It then plots the ideal charge stops for drivers on any trip. Further customization can be done by setting start and end SOC and even weather conditions.
The results
With their Chargetrip No-Code solution, Porsche helps customers find stations 50,000+ times per month and sees as many as 100,000 visitors per month to their route planner, station map, and range spider. By educating their customers and showcasing performance in an engaging way, they are driving EV adoption and demonstrating their position as leaders in the EV industry.
