Companies in EV charging, vehicle rentals, vehicle leasing, and logistics use Chargetrip's API to build EV driver applications or license our No-Code Solutions for web apps. In short, we make software tools for companies to make EV driving easy.

About the role

Chargetrip is looking for two Business Development Managers to drive its growth in the North American market. After strong product-market fit and rapid growth in the European market, you will be at the ground level of Chargetrip’s North American expansion. You will report directly to our Global Director of Sales and collaborate closely with the Commercial team located in Amsterdam.

What you’ll be working on

  • ✅ Growing Chargetrip’s customer base in North America.

  • ✅ Driving revenue of Chargetrip’s API, No-Code Solutions, and upcoming fleet business intelligence platform.

  • ✅ Developing commercial relationships with companies across mobility, specifically fleet operators, fleet management software providers, electrification consulting firms, charge point operators, and e-mobility service providers.

  • ✅ Traveling to trade shows across North America to build new relationships and strengthen existing relationships with customers and prospects.

  • ✅ Collaborating with the rest of the Commercial team on relationships and strategy.

  • ✅ Identify and explore opportunities for new use cases and segments.

What We Are Looking For

  • ✅ You are hands-on and thrive in a scaleup with a startup mentality. At the same time, you can navigate large organizations. Ideally, you have a proven track record in both.

  • ✅ You do not hesitate to cold-call, negotiate deals, or ask for a signature. But you also have the patience to give potential customers sound advice and build genuine trusting relationships.

  • ✅ You can fill a commercial pipeline while also building and improving internal processes to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of sales activities.

  • ✅ You enjoy traveling for several days a month regularly.

  • ✅ You have 3-7 years of relevant working experience; experience in the mobility/automotive sector is strongly preferred.

  • ✅ You are located in an e-mobility industry hub—preferably Los Angeles, Boston or Chicago.
