Chargetrip is looking for an entrepreneurial VP of Business Development for North America with a strong background in Electric Mobility who is excited about contributing to the success of a clean-tech SaaS scale-up on a mission to accelerate mass EV adoption.

You will be Chargetrip's first team member working outside of Europe and will be instrumental in helping us capture high-value potential across North America. By leveraging your existing network, you are able to build out a commercial organisation that aligns well with our European culture and company DNA.

Over time the North American team will include additional sales managers, customer success managers, integration engineers and back-office support. Next to your business development activities, you are excited to help us find and manage this additional talent and act as a liaison between the EU and NA teams.

What you'll be working on

At Chargetrip, you will be part of our commercial team, working alongside our CCO and CEO. Your primary focus will be to develop commercial relationships with mobility companies in North America, like delivery-, logistics-, service fleets, mobility service providers, fleet software suppliers, and tier-1,2,3-suppliers. You take pride and ownership in what you do, and you have a proven existing network to help Chargetrip grow to its full global potential.

What we are looking for

  • ✅ Electric Mobility Advocate.

  • ✅ You are hands-on and thrive in a scale-up with a startup mentality. At the same time, you are able to navigate large organisations. Ideally, you have a proven track- record in both.

  • ✅ You have experience with building and leading teams in close collaboration and dialogue with an European HQ.

  • ✅ You can scope, negotiate deals, and ask for a signature. Simultaneously, you have patience enough to provide potential customers with sound advice before they can make a choice.

  • ✅ You have experience selling e-mobility SaaS products and have developed a strong network of relevant contacts.

  • ✅ You can map international clients, fill a commercial pipeline, develop commercial processes for today and those that prepare the company for the future.

  • ✅ You have a keen interest in our technology roadmap and are able to coordinate priorities based on customers’ needs with the development team.

  • ✅ You are interested in and have knowledge of the energy transition.

  • ✅ You are fluent in English

  • ✅ You enjoy being abroad for several days a month regularly.

  • ✅ You have 8 -12 years of relevant working experience; experience with software for mobility is a strong plus.
